Memorial Day Nintendo Switch deals are in full swing, with plenty of savings across games, accessories, and even consoles on the shelves today. That means you'll find everything from new releases to headsets and controllers on sale right now, but if you spot a price you like we wouldn't recommend waiting. These offers officially close out at midnight, so we're in the final throes of this year's event.
We've finally been seeing Nintendo products drop in price in the last year or so – something that rarely happens if you know anything about how the company operates. We've seen the likes of Super Mario Wonder and Super Mario RPG taking rare price cuts, and the OLED console itself has been drifting south of its $349.99 MSRP now and then as well.
With previous Black Friday offers packing some of the biggest bundles we've seen yet - and nobody's mentioning the Nintendo Switch 2 yet - deals could be strong in 2024. We're rounding up all of this year's best Memorial Day Nintendo Switch deals right here.

FAQ
When do Memorial Day Nintendo Switch deals start?
While Memorial Day itself is taking place on Monday, May 27th, 2024, we will be expecting deals to pop up a few days beforehand. The best bet is that the weekend preceding will see Nintendo Switch deals go live, so that's Saturday, May 25th, and Sunday, May 26th.
When will Memorial Day Nintendo Switch deals end?
Memorial Day Nintendo Switch deals officially close at midnight on Monday, May 27th, 2024. That said, we often see retailers padding out their offerings with some even running through until the Wednesday (May 29th) after the event itself. Basically, if you see a deal you want, we recommend not hanging about with good deals likely to be snapped up before they expire.
What retailers will be best for Memorial Day Nintendo Switch deals 2023?
The likes of Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart are all strong bets for the best Nintendo Switch discounts. Amazon often offers great discounts on consoles and software with its subsidiary, Woot, also putting up a limited number of stock at record-low prices.
Nintendo itself is known for offering limited-time holiday deals, usually putting up one specific bundle – just like the Mario Day bundle – and will likely do so again. It also typically slashes the price of numerous of its first-party titles by 20% to 30%. Digital downloads are also another way to go, often being cheaper than physical copies.
Amazon: discounts across OLED and Lite models
Best Buy: daily deals and clearance sales
CDKeys: up to 60% off digital games
What to expect from Memorial Day Nintendo Switch deals 2024?
Memorial Day 2024 will hopefully provide plenty of opportunities to save some cash on Nintendo Switch hardware and software. While we wouldn't expect the console to be reduced by half-price (this is Nintendo, after all), the holiday will still offer up some savings for anyone that has been holding off on picking up the Nintendo machine, or making an upgrade to the Nintendo Switch OLED.
Speaking of which, we're hoping to see the OLED dropping from its $349.99 price tag to $300 or even below. The previous record was set by Woot (Amazon) last year at $309.99. However, Black Friday took things to a new level in bundle form. Dell was offering a free $75 gift card with the OLED console, an offer it's repeated at least once, essentially dropping the cost of the console to $274. In a perfect world, we'll see even more of the OLED bundles that graced our shelves over the previous holiday season. We're hoping for a return of the Super Smash Bros. bundle (with a free Switch Online subscription thrown in) at least.
One of the cheapest and most likely ways to get into the Switch ecosystem will be to pick up a Nintendo Switch Lite. The handheld-only device usually retails for $199 but we've seen it packing a free copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons and dropping its cost to $179 at the same time recently. We'll be keeping our eyes peeled on Walmart for a repeat there - but it certainly bodes well for anyone after a handheld-only device.
Games might tell a different story. Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Super Mario RPG have only just started to wiggle down from their original $59.99 launch prices in the last couple of months. While that's still early for a Nintendo Switch game, we wouldn't expect too much more here. Instead, we're looking to older titles for some new record lows. Black Friday gave us a massive wad of games going for around $30 - and while we're not quite expecting such luck in Memorial Day Nintendo Switch deals we could see some $20 discounts here and there.
We're rounding up plenty more offers across Nintendo Switch Lite deals and showing you all the best Nintendo Switch accessories to pair your new console with. Or, for more discounts, we're also rounding up the best Memorial Day PS5 deals and best Memorial Day Meta Quest deals.
