Assassin's Creed Unity Murder Mystery Guide
We've all heard of the expression 'it takes a thief to catch a thief', but in a bizarre turn of events, Assassin's Creed Unity features a fat, lazy policeman of sorts who sits idly by while a concerned citizen prompts Arno to set out into the city and clean up the streets from his prison cell, by solving a series of murder mysteries that sound like a list of cancelled Columbo episodes.
It's Arno's job to head to crime scenes, snuffle about for clues, collect them in his case file, and when he's sifted through the evidence, accuse the murderer and drag them back to the cells for a hot, steaming, dollop of justice. That is when he's not too preoccupied bumping people off himself and scarpering off to a nearby rooftop to hide from the law.
You don't have to collect all of the clues in each case before you can finger the murderer, so as soon as the option becomes available to accuse a likely-looking suspect, you can do so. Bear in mind that you'll be penalised for false accusations, so as well as a list of clues for each case, we've identified the murderer at the very bottom of each page. Just in case you want to double check your carefully calculated deduction. We know you're not cheating.
It's worth noting that you can initiate these investigations by visiting the location of crime scenes before the icons pop up on your map, saving you the hassle of waiting around or paying for the privilege of having them appear instantaneously with Helix Credits, which I believe is the blanket term Ubisoft is using now for real money.
