According to Moviehole.net Sony are eager for a sequel to black comedy Zombieland. Not surprising, really since it cost $24 million and took $85 million at the box office world wide (its Wiki entry claims this makes it the most lucrative zombie movie of all, but that’s wikibole for you – the Zack Snyder Dawn Of The Dead took $102 million world wide, but Zombieland may be the most successful zombie movie at the US box office).
Speaking to Moviehole, Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer said he’s ready to goand so is the original cast so there should be a sequel in a couple of years. Fleischer also reveals that the next film will likely be in 3D, believing “the genre really lends itself to [3-D].”
