Zombieland writers scripting Cowboy Ninja Viking
Wernick and Reese adapting graphic novel
Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, the writing duo behind Zombieland , have been tapped by Disney to write the script for the awesomely titled Cowboy Ninja Viking .
The movie will be based on a graphic novel by AJ Lieberman and Riley Rossmo, which was published last year.
It's got one hell of a premise, with the title character being a multiple personality disorder patient who's trained with three sets of skills, and three personas, to become the ultimate assassin.
Wernick and Reese used to work in TV production, but their Zombieland script put them among the most sought-after writers in Hollywood.
They've since been set to work on the script for the Deadpool spin-off, and rumour has also linked them to a Venom movie, the G.I. Joe sequel, and their own sci-fi project Earth Vs Moon .
Expect to hears rumours about potential directors and stars once Wernick and Reese hand the completed script in.
