Watch an undead-packed hour of new gen Zombi
Yeah, that missing U or even E on Zombi is really starting to grate isn't it? Well the good news is you don't need to see the name while you watch Ubisoft Australia play through an hour of the ex-Wii U exclusive.
The footage shows off exactly how the action works without the ever handy Gamepad acting as your rucksack (oh there's a sentence I don't write every day). "The Wii U gamepad was so integral to the experience originally. In order to move it to other platforms unfortunately we couldn’t rely on everybody having a PSP or an iPad or a phone etc," explains Ubi's Owen Hughes.
"So just by pressing the touchpad or back button on the Xbox you’ll open up your bag and be able to do everything you could from the Gamepad. The game doesn’t pause when you do this so it still kind of gives you that sense of tension. Originally with the Wii version you were looking down, you didn’t know what was going on so but in the new version we’ve kind of blocked your field of view for a little bit."
Check out the video for some gruesome zombie encounters in good old London town and, if nothing else it's a good excuse to appreciate the gory slo-mo launch trailer once more. It's available to download on PS4, Xbox One and PC tomorrow.
