How to sign up for the Zenless Zone Zero PlayStation 5 technical test

There's another Zenless Zone Zero beta opportunity up for grabs, this time in the form of a PlayStation 5 technical test. This is the first time players beyond PC and iOS devices have been offered a chance to try out HoYoverse's highly anticipated action RPG Zenless Zone Zero, which looks like it's taking much of its action inspiration from Genshin Impact while moving to a new futuristic urban environment. Although entry isn't guaranteed, you'll need to fill out a survey to be in with a shot of receiving access to the PlayStation 5 technical test, so here's what you need to know about signing up for the Zenless Zone Zero beta.

Zenless Zone Zero beta test start time and information

Before you sign up, it’s a good idea to learn a bit about how this Zenless Zone Zero beta is going to work. Firstly, the sign-up period for the PlayStation 5 technical test is live at the time of writing, but will close on April 17 at 15:00 UTC+8 which translates to 00:00 PDT / 03:00 EDT / 08:00 GMT.

Naturally, this particular Zenless Zone Zero beta test will only be supported on PS5, so make sure you have access to that platform ready for when the test does go live. HoYoverse have not yet announced when the PlayStation technical test will run, only saying "The start and end times will be announced separately. Please follow official news for more info."

As with previous beta tests, the game is still in development and content included does not represent the quality of the final game. Progress from previous betas does not transfer into the PlayStation 5 technical test, and no progress will be carried forward from this beta either.

Zenless Zone Zero beta sign-up

To get started with the sign-up process for the latest Zenless Zone Zero beta, you have to head to the official survey found at https://hoyo.link/1zCiFBAL. You'll then need to run through the following process:

1. Log in with your HoYoverse account.
2. Click 'Enter Sign-Up'.
3. Complete the survey. It should only take a few minutes and asks you about the kind of games you play and your gaming habits.
4. Enter your email address and then submit. Make sure you enter your email address carefully as you can't change it after.

Now you just need to wait and see if you're selected to take part, at which point you'll receive an email with a PSN code to redeem so you can download the technical test. Note that completing this survey does not guarantee you access to the Zenless Zone Zero beta, but HoYoverse have said that you will be notified as to whether or not you've qualified after the sign-up period has ended.
