Yoshi's New Island Star, Red Coin and Flower collectibles guide

World 6-8: Baby Bowser's Castle Break-In

Red Coin 1 and 2: These are on either side of the ‘?’ cloud.

Star 1 – 5: Fire an egg into the ‘?’ cloud to release 5 stars.

Red Coin 3: Jump across the platforms and collect the coins here to pick up another red coin.

Star 6 – 15: Burst the ‘?’ clouds and ascend the brick staircases. Pop through the Middle Ring at the top for 10 stars.

Red Coin 4: Head right and quickly pick up the coins in the corner before the platform rises for a red coin.

Red Coin 5 – 7: Go through the blue door on the left. Collect the 3 sets of coins under the spike traps for 3 red coins.

Flower 1: Jump to the left of the very last spike trap to reveal a hidden ‘?’ cloud that contains a flower. There is a key in the other ‘?’ cloud so be ready to catch it before it falls into the lava. Don't panic if you miss it as the ‘?’ cloud will respawn when you leave the area.

Flower 2: Return to the main hall and go through the door on the right. In this area is Tap-Tap the Golden. Use eggs to roll him to the right so that you can access the ‘?’ clouds for a key and a flower.

Red Coin 8 – 10: These are on the right side of this area and can be picked up by rolling Tap-Tap the Golden into them.

Star 16 – 20: Jump up and use the giant bouncy ball on the left to reach the door up here. Shoot the ‘?’ cloud to the left of the Egg-Plant to release 5 stars.

Flower 3: The third ‘?’ cloud down and on the right contains a flower.

Star 21 – 25: The last ‘?’ cloud, at the bottom, will also release 5 stars.

Flower 4: Return to the main hall then up and onto the giant bouncy ball on the right to reach the door up here. Flutter jump and bounce across the Skeleton Goonies to pick up a flower.

Red Coin 11 – 15: Pick these up as you traverse the Skeleton Goonies.

Red Coin 16: Drop down and through the flippers. A line of coins will appear to the left that contains a red coin.

Star 26 – 35: Back in the main hall, unlock the central door and go through the various locked rooms, passing thought the Middle Ring along the way for 10 stars.

Flower 5: In the last of these locked rooms is a ‘?’ cloud that contains a flower.

In the next area, pick a direction and pop down the warp pipe. Gobble up the Giant Shy Guy and hurtle the resultant Eggdozer through the giant stone blocks. Gobble up another one and fire it into the air above the sealed blue door to drop a giant bouncy ball. Bounce up and through the door.

Red Coin 17 – 20: Collect the coins on the way to the Middle Ring for the last red coins.

Star 36 – 45: Hop through the Middle Ring for 10 stars.

Star 46 – 50: To the top right of the door to the boss area is a hidden ‘?’ cloud that will release 5 stars.

Congratulations! You’ve put a stop to Baby Bowser and the thriving tourist industry his resort would have propagated, generating untold wealth for the residents of Yoshi Island. Now sit back and watch the credits roll as the most inefficient stork in the universe flies off into the sunset. Most likely to the wrong address. Again.
