Yoshi's New Island Star, Red Coin and Flower collectibles guide

World 3-1: Rise of the Nasty Nep-Enuts

Star 1 – 5: Beneath the palm trees under the Egg Block is a hidden ‘?’ cloud. Pelt it with an egg for 5 stars.

Flower 1: This is above the first Enut on a tree platform.

Star 6 – 10: Double flutter jump to the right from the treetop the first flower was on to land on top of the next tree along. Shoot an egg into the ‘?’ cloud up here for another 5 stars.

Red Coin 1: Continue right past the second Nep-Enut and grab the coins above the trees for the first red coin.

Red Coin 2: Before the Nep-Enut re-emerges from the water to chase you down and block up the entrance to the secret area, plop down into the water, collecting the coins on the way to the pink door for your second red coin.

Red Coin 3: Enter the door to the secret area for an obscene amount of gold coins and 1 red coin.

Flower 2: The second flower is in the secret area.

Red Coin 4: When you exit the secret area, slide down the slope to the right for the next red coin.

Red Coin 5: Grab yourself a Giant Metal Shy Guy, poop out a Metal Eggdozer and plunge Yoshi and Baby Mario into the inky blue depths below. Collect the coins on the platform down here for another red coin.

Red Coin 6: Use the Metal Eggdozer to smash through the stone blocks to access the red coin.

Red Coin 7: Leave the water and head right. Scale the trees and flutter jump back to the left to reach the high platform with the Egg-Plant on top of it and a red coin.

Star 11 – 15: Replenish Yoshi’s stock of eggs and throw one into the ‘?’ cloud to the immediate right to create a brick platform. Go back along here and fire an egg into the ‘?’ cloud above it for 5 stars.

Red Coin 8: Continue right to the next Giant Metal Shy Guy. Use Yoshi’s butt magic to turn him into an egg and drop down into the water on the left. Collect the coins here for a red coin.

Red Coin 9: Hop up the platforms on the right and shoot the Metal Eggdozer through the stone blocks on the left for another red coin.

Flower 3: When you fire the Metal Eggdozer off to the left, it will ricochet off the wall and smash through the blocks to the right, picking up the next flower.

Star 16 – 20: Leave the underwater area by jumping up to the white platform above. In the right corner of the platform is a hidden ‘?’ cloud containing 5 stars, but it will only appear if you toss a Metal Eggdozer down onto the platform.

Red Coin 10: Prepare another Metal Eggdozer and fire it to the right. It will crash through the stone blocks and Yoshi can now reach the bouncy ball. Bounce up to the brick platform on the left for some gold coins and a red coin.

Red Coin 11 – 15: Drop down and head right and into the Submarine Yoshi door. Collect the coins lining this course for 5 more red coins.

Flower 4: This flower is in the Submarine Yoshi area.

Star 21 – 30: The Middle Ring next to the exit door to the Submarine Yoshi area will give you another 10 stars.

Red Coin 16 – 20: The coins in this last section will take you up to 20. Be sure to have Yoshi land on every tree platform as 2 sets of coins will only spawn when he lands on the trigger treetops.

Flower 5: The last flower of the level is underneath some trees on the right side of the Nep-Enut.
