Xenoblade and The Last Story already being localized for North America, claims inside source

Operation Rainfall, the fan group petitioning for Nintendo of America to release a trio of Wii JRPGsin the US, claims to have insider info from an anonymous source that two of those games, Xenoblade and The Last Story, are currently in the process of being localizedfor North America. In fact, the source says that localization for Xenoblade was completed a overmonth ago, while The Last Story is in progress and will begin the testing phase soon.

According to the post on Operation Rainfall's site,"American localization of Xenoblade is complete, The Last Story is currently being translated to English for an American release, but there is no word on Pandora%26rsquo;s Tower localization." It goes on to clarify,"This information was disclosed to Operation Rainfall today from a source within Nintendo who wishes to remain anonymous. There is currently no indication of when Nintendo of America plans to formally announce these titles."

This news comes recently afterNintendo of America announcedon Twitter and Facebook that it had no plans whatsoever to release either of these titles to North America, so while it's still not an official announcement, if the source is to be believed, we should expect an actual announcement from Nintendo sometime soon.

It's no surprise that Pandora's Tower isn't included in this news, because of the three titles Operation Rainfall is petitioning for, that one seems like the longest shot. At least the other two, Xenoblade and The Last Story, have officially been announced for the UK, so the likelihood was much higher that they would eventually release here too.
