WrestleMania 32’s results – as predicted by WWE 2K16
Get ready for shocks, title changes and… Glitch City?!
The match
WWE newcomer AJ Styles fights Chris Jericho in a single match for bragging rights. Of course, by debuting at the Royal Rumble this January, AJ Styles appeared far too late for inclusion in WWE 2K16’s roster, so we’ve turned to a Community Creation from WWE 2K16 player Koahrilla.
Predicted result
AJ Styles pins Chris Jericho after a Phoenix Splash in 7:41.
Highlight of the match
Goodbye Spanish announce table! At 6:00, Chris Jericho lays AJ Style onto the commentary table before rolling back into the ring, scaling the turnbuckle and diving off the top rope with a Michaels-esque elbow drop through the wood.

While not the match we wanted to see AJ Styles compete in (we’ve already seen in a few times this year), it promises to be a good technical affair. WWE 2K16 admirably replicates this with a really strong grappling start featuring holds and counter holds aplenty. As a passing of the torch affair, we expect an AJ win to be the right call.

The match
WWE Diva’s Champion Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks have a triple threat match with the Diva’s title on the line. Not one of the former NXT Four Horsewomen is available in WWE 2K16, so we’ve once again looked to the Community Creations to fill the ring. Varsiin created Charlotte, Becky Lynch is from Gama_Overload, and Sasha Banks is courtesy of INSTANT-CLASS1Ck.
Predicted result
Sasha Banks defeats Charlotte by pinfall in 9:08 after a straight jacket neckbreaker.
Highlight of the match
Becky Lynch almost stealing a win at 5:28 leads to the nearest near fall you’ll ever see. A great spot.
The GR+ verdict
Barring the weird moment where Sasha forgets who’s the heel and brings a sledgehammer into the ring to jab Charlotte, this is one of the very best matches in PredictAMania thanks to near multiple falls – and it should be one of the best at WrestleMania too. It seems set up for a Sasha win, so expect Charlotte to tap out to the Bank Statement in real life. A shock fairytale victory for Becky Lynch? Also possible.

The match
Dean Ambrose versus “The Beast” Brock Lesnar in a No Holds Barred Street Fight. This one promises nothing but greatness. For our simulation, we picked ‘Extreme Rules’ in the hope of a weapon-palooza…
Predicted result
Brock Lesnar defeats Dean Ambrose by pinfall in 7:58 after a triple powerbomb.
Highlight of the match
In an utterly staggering sequence beginning at 2:32, Brock Lesnar delivers 36 consecutive knees to Ambrose’s gut, completing an entire lap around the outside of the ring – and follows it up with nine (!) strong Irish whips into the apron.
The GR+ verdict
Brock has to win, and by accident WWE 2K16 seems to have stumbled upon an absolutely incredible formula for him to beat down Ambrose during the match. Last year Lesnar took Reigns to Suplex City – this year he’s dragging Dean Ambrose to Knee County followed by Irish Whip Valley. Call it a glitch (Glitch City?) if you want, but the brutal assault epitomises Lesnar’s real life approach to the prize fights.

The match
The prodigal son Shane McMahon returns to WWE and does battle with the Undertaker inside Hell In A Cell. If McMahon wins, he displaces The Authority and gains control of Monday Night Raw, plus The Undertaker will never again wrestle at WrestleMania. ’Taker, meanwhile, is in his home state of Texas, and boasts a 22-1 record at WrestleMania. Goosebumps.
Predicted result
Undertaker wins with a pinfall following a tombstone piledriver in just 2:35.

Er…
The GR+ verdict
Widely regarded as WrestleMania’s most exciting battle thanks to Undertaker’s incredible legacy at the show, ’Takers storied history inside Hell In A Cell and Shane McMahon’s notoriety for putting his body on the line, PredictAMania’s version of events will surely drain the crowd of boos ahead of Reign’s appearance if it precedes the title match. A total non-event in which the pair don’t even leave the ring, this is absolutely the widest prediction from the mark – even if the result does come to pass.
