Of course, my favorite part about this new version of Peggle is the shiny set of armor for Bjorn the Unicorn, which is modeled after the gear worn by the Paladin’s Warhorse. Thanks to her hot new threads, Bjorn the Unicorn more mountable.

If you’ve never played Peggle, you’ve been missing out on one of the most hardcore casual games ever made, which is why we highlighted recent releases of the title on XBLA, the Nintendo DS, and the iPhone in our feature, “The Top 7… best games of 2009.” Bouncing balls off of colorful blocks and over rainbows may sound lame. But it’s surprisingly addictive. Trust me, I’m a horse and know what I’m talking about.
