World of Nintendo
20 more Nintendo happenings to get you through your day
6)Mario mod
Halo? Miyamoto could’ve designed it in his sleep. Had he put pen to paper then perhaps the outcome would have been along these lines. It’s Burial Grounds with a Mushroom Kingdom texture twist. Forget the Halo 3 multiplayer beta - it’s all about the Mario Kart warthog.
7)Kirb your enthusiasm
World of Nintendo? World of Crochet, more like. Obviously the ol’ yarn-hooking habit is back in favor because everyone’s doing it. Case in point? Lovable crochet Kirby. If you check the link, he even comes with a chef’s hat. Must have absorbed a crochet Cooking Mama.
8)Money where your Meowth is
You’ve got to hand it to Chokipeta - that boy/girl/man/woman can fold paper. This Meowth was commissioned by the official Pokémon website for the release of Diamond/Pearl. The site’s for members only, but luckily some saint/copyright infringing ne’er-do-well has put up plans for the less privileged origami lovers out there.
9)Blanket bomb
As knitting movie How to Make an American Quilt taught us, every thread of a quilt comes packed with memories and meaning. Taking this to heart is Mkazumi’s, er, quilt down Nintendo memory lane. Abrasive woolliness and retro scented.
