The humble GBA is ideal for all sorts of genres, but dance games aren’t so well suited to that twitchy D-pad. One intrepid inventor has changed all that by fitting a dance mat to an original GBA, thereby ruining its portability and probably voiding his warranty, but making it the perfect machine for a spot of small-screen dancing. Except it’s being used to play Pac-Man here. There’s a detailed how-to on this site if you fancy having a go at it yourself.
If you’ve ever munched on the end of your DS stylus, you’ll probably have noticed that it doesn’t click into place quite as snugly as it used to. This brilliant Japanese product means you can chew as much as you like and not have to worry about the stylus falling out of its slot. Unless you bite through the cord, of course.

Not convinced by cheapo metallic finishes? Here’s the real deal - a gold-plated replacement shell. So shiny! If you’ve managed to break your original DS case (maybe by trying to get those blasted tri-wing screws out) you could do a lot worse than spend some cash on one of these. Pointless but pretty.
19)Real Skulltula
Collect 100 of these for a special reward, right? We never realised Skulltulas could be found outside of Hyrule, but if you happen to be walking in Spring Creek Forest, near Dallas, Texas, you might spot one. It’s probably ludicrously poisonous.
It’s a DS sticker, dangly character pendant and magical stylus extend-o-matic thingy. The whole package costs a hefty penny, since it’s a Japanese import, but there’s no better way to show your love for the DS remake of Final Fantasy IV. Apart from playing through the Japanese version of the game, of course.
