Plenty of reasons to be cheerful...and confused
Velcome to Vii! This full-on Chinese ripoff of Nintendo’s console looks almost like the real thing, but since it doesn’t appear to have a disc drive, we’ve no idea what it plays. Probably a bunch of built-in NES games or something. Magazine ads in China even look like Nintendo’s Wii ads, with models of all ages enjoying this not-entirely-original gaming experience. We’d get one in to test it but we’re not sure if we’d be arrested for doing so.
If you were the lead level designer at a big videogame company like, say, Blizzard, you’d probably want some kind of videogame-inspired wedding when it was your turn to tie the knot. So when Cory Stockton, lead level designer at Blizzard, got married, he went all out with a nifty Mario cake, a Zelda ice sculpture and tables themed around various consoles.
