Wondering what's wrong with GamesRadar?

GamesRadar’s going under the knife for a bit to bring you crucial new features and site updates. Keeping with the surgical analogy, we’ve got to starve ourselves for 24 hours in order to undergo the operation, so we’re not allowed to eat any content for a while…doctor’s orders. FEAR NOT: GamesRadar is not broken, lost, or in the hands of Anonymous. Give us a day or so and we should come roaring back with newly enhanced bionic badassery!”

What's happening?
During this update, we'll be shifting a lot of content around. While you will be able to read the site, we won't be adding any new content once the update starts, and you won't be able to log in to GamesRadar or post any comments during that time. Immediately after the update ends, you may not be able to see your full activity history on your profile, but that should also return.

When and for how long?
The update is beginning the morning of Sunday, August 21, and will end mid- to late-day on Monday, August 22.

Why are we doing this?
For one, the updates we're putting into place will mean our content is posted faster to get to you more quickly. Second, we're always looking to make GamesRadar easier to use. Here are some of the cool new features you can expect on the new GR:

Get more of what you like: The site will now recommend articles (news, features, reviews, previews) based on what you're reading
Reply to comments: Start a conversation within the conversation by responding directly to GamesRadar editors and your fellow readers
Today's most popular stories: See what the community is buzzing about via a new must-read sidebar

So, thank you for your patience, and we hope to see you on the new-and-improved GamesRadar soon!

Thanks,
The GamesRadar Team
