The Witcher 3 is already a very, very long game packed with content, so much so that it's not uncommon to hear people talk about their playtime hours with Geralt of Rivia numbering in the triple digits. If you're one such player, I've got bad news for your free time: developer CD Projekt RED has just revealed its plans to implement a New Game + mode, effectively doubling (if not indefinitely extending) your stay in the Northern Realms.
Like the many, many pieces of free DLC before it, the mode will be a complimentary download for all versions of The Witcher 3. There's unfortunately no word as to when Witcher 3 NG+ will be available, as the announcement - made on the game's Facebook fan page - notes that the team needs "a little bit more time" before it's ready.
That's okay, it gives us some room to think of excuses as to why we won't see our friends and families for a few weeks. Again.
