This Witcher 3 bundle might be the best Xbox One deal yet
Well, here's something. Days after the Xbox One was reduced to £299.99 in the UK, retailer Game has announced a bundle that looks like even more of a bargain. Comprising a Kinect-less Xbox One and a copy of The Witcher 3, it comes in at £309.99. It can be pre-ordered now.
While I'd still argue that a Kinect is worth everyone's while (it says hello to me when it sees my face!), the chance to grab a game that's looking top banana for a penny under a tenner is a difficult prospect to mug off.
You may have noticed my painful slide into British slang, there - that's because there's no immediately apparent US equivalent for the deal. While I wouldn't rule it out - different territories often work to different announcement timescales - it's certainly not unheard of for one region to get preferential treatment.
Maybe we Brits just don't like the prospect of having sex on a unicorn quite as much as our American cousins, and need a bit of an incentive. We'll find out when the game's released on 19th May, I suppose.
