Winter has come in Game of Thrones season 7 but at least the new costumes are warm and cozy

Game of Thrones season 7 will give our hapless heroes (and villains, and morally ambiguous power-mongers) some new duds to deal with the onset of that pesky winter everyone was always talking about. Surprisingly, our first look at these new costumes comes not from publicity photos or on-set pics, but a series of commercials for the HBO network.

Before I show you the pics, know that the commercials are meant to evoke the signature HBO sound - you know, that static buzz and then a sort of humming noise - which will explain why everyone has their mouths open and making a sort of weird face. Here, you can watch one first to prepare yourself:
