Winning Eleven 8: Latest shots uncovered
More screens from the game that will become Pro Evolution Soccer 4
The trickle of screenshots from Winning Eleven 8 - the Japanese game that will eventually become Pro Evolution Soccer 4 when it reaches the UK - continues apace today with a smattering of new in-game images.
The shots, which are taken from Japanese games mag Famitsu, aren't of the highest quality but they do give you a taster of what's in store from what promises to be yet another superb outing for the seminal footie series.
While it's been confirmed that Winning Eleven 8 won't include an online mode (although there will be offline multiplayer support for up to eight virtual footballers), by the time an updated version of the game reaches these shores in the guise of Pro Evo 4, we're expecting full online functionality to be included.
New features that are included in WE8, though, include the on-screen appearance of a referee for the first time (highlighted in the first screenshot), characters' stats improving with experience and the introduction of indirect free kicks.
Winning Eleven 8 will be released in Japan in August. There's no official word yet on when we're likely to see Pro Evolution Soccer 4, though
