Win Def Leppard tickets with Guitar Hero III
Fancy a free gig in May? Then test your rock knowledge in our competition
Videogames have offically taken over the world. If you still need evidence of that, look no further than Def Leppard's new downloadable song pack for Guitar Hero III.
No mere grab-bag from their back-catalogue, the DLC actually contains the first release ofthe band'snew single, 'Nine Lives'. In the case of the Xbox 360 version, that's a song getting released through a game before it goes on iTunes, and five days before the album even comes out (the 'Songs From The Sparkle Lounge' LP hits shelves on the 29th of April). The song pack is coming to the PS3 in early May though, so don't fret about missing out.
To mark the event, the band are playing a special gig at London's Islington Academy on the 6th of May. Activision have given us a pair of ticketsfor said shindig to give away, and if you'd like to be in with a chance of winning them we'd like you to answer the following question:
As well as 'Nine Lives', the DLC song pack includes live versions of 'Photograph' and 'Rock Of Ages'. Which Def Leppard album did both of those songs originally come from? And as a tie-breaker, tell us in thirty words or less why you're enough of a rock god to deserve these tickets. Send your answers in an e-mail to [email protected].
One winner will get both tickets, and all entrants must be aged 18 or over. The winner must provide their own transport to and from the concert. The competition closing date is the 1st of May, and as ever, before you even think about entering you must check the full competition rules, which you can findhere. By entering you're stating that you agree to the terms. If you win, we'll pass on your details to Activision's PR and they'll send the tickets straight out to you.
