Will Spidey be on the run from the law in The Amazing Spider-Man 2?
Marc Webb tweets another on-set image
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 may well see Spidey on the run from the authorities, at least if we’re correctly interpreting the latest tweet from director Marc Webb.
Webb took to the social-networking site to release a new image of a pair of suits flashing FBI badges. We’d say it’s a safe bet that they’re looking for the friendly neighbourhood web-slinger.
The new film will pick up with Peter Parker struggling to keep his promise to the late Captain Stacy to keep away from his daughter Gwen. The two are in love you see, and teenagers tend not to be able to keep that kind of thing under wraps.
Meanwhile, there are some new villains for our hero to get his fight on with, including Jamie Foxx’s Electro and Paul Giamatti’s Rhino. And who knows how long Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) is going to stay friendly…
Directed by Webb and co-starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Shailene Woodley, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will open in the UK on 18 April 2014.
