Will Kane and Lynch mob PS3?
[PS3] Developer hints at future PS3 version
Thursday 31 August 2006
We've been impressed with what we've seen of buddy-movie-for-psychopaths Kane & Lynch: Dead Men but among our lingering questions was whether or not Sony's console will be in on the heist.
"The formats we've announced are PC and 360. It doesn't mean that we can't do any other platforms - but those are the ones we have as a simultaneous release right now," game director Jens Peter Kurup diplomatically explained.
"We're pretty proud of doing multiplatform stuff and we kind of like it, but to do a simultaneous release across such a broad range of platforms would hurt the game. So we can't announce anything else... but we're pretty nifty at PS3 already, so let's see if we don't get more games on that one as well."

We were left to speculate on where developer Io has been achieving niftiness with PS3 development - perhaps a latecoming port of Hitman: Blood Money? - but if its newest not-exactly-heroes prove popular (and somehow both manage to survive the events of the game), it's likely Kane & Lynch will be PS3-bound at some stage.
