Will Ferrell and Liam Neeson join LEGO movie
They’ll lend voices to The Piece Of Resistance
LEGO movie The Piece Of Resistance has added a couple of big names to its voice cast, with Will Ferrell and Liam Neeson the latest A-listers to sign on the dotted line.
The story will follow Emmett (Chris Pratt) an ordinary LEGO man who finds himself swept up in a great adventure when he’s mistakenly identified as a unique individual capable of saving the world.
Before he knows it, he’s been drafted into a disparate band of oddballs charged with thwarting a power-hungry tyrant’s evil scheme. No pressure then.
Ferrell will play the film’s primary antagonist, President Business, while Neeson will play his chief enforcer, Bad Cop. Just the thought of those two sparking off each other has already got us sold on this one…
Directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, and co-starring Alison Brie, Nick Offerman and Will Arnett, LEGO: The Piece Of Resistance will open in the US on 7 February 2014. We wonder if there will be any tie-in merchandise?
