Which sci-fi stars do you want to meet?

The SFX Weekender is already shaping up to be one of the most important events of its kind in 2010. It's the universe of SFX brought to life, so the question is: who and what do you want to see? We're taking suggestions!

Currently attending are actors John Barrowman , James Marsters and Gareth David-Lloyd ; and writers China Mieville , Richard Morgan , Paul Cornell , Dan Abnett , Peter F Hamilton , Mark Millar , Robert Rankin , Joe Abercrombie , Phil Ford and James Moran . So far!

We've also got Viz Media, Diamond Comics, Forbidden Planet International, Tor, 2000 AD and Gollancz all helping out, with more companies getting firmed up all the time. You can expect to see discussion panels, a pub quiz, comics workshops, an evening disco, live comedy performances, autograph signings, screenings (where you'll get to vote for your favourite TV episodes and watch the best on the big screen) and more.

And don't forget that on the Saturday night there'll be the live presentation of the SFX Awards - voting begins in a couple of months, people! - so there's plenty to come along for, and accommodation is included in the price.

But what do you want to see there? We're still booking guests all the time and there are plenty of activities and panels already on the cards that we haven't announced yet. There's time for you to tell us want you want! Use the comment thread below, email us your ideas for guests and activities, or join us on the forum to chat about what you'd like to see.

To find out more and book tickets, visit the official website or call 08700 110034. Remember, there are discounts for subscribers so call up about that before 1 September to get your money off.
