more shots of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
Activision has released a flurry of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars shots that illustrate just how much detail has been put in to the outstanding character models and vehicles.
The online strategy shooter pits the armies of Earth against an alien Strogg invasion. Gamers can take sides in the conflict choosing to fight as one of five different class of soldier.
The action is similar to that of EA's Battlefield 2, but Quake Wars developer Splash Damage has upped the ante with the amount of detail that's been put into the vehicles and soldiers. There are over 40 different types of vehicle all of which can pick up damage, affecting their performance and handling.
As for the soldiers, each class not only has its own specific skill set but has its own animations as well, and so crouch, walk and run in a noticeably different way.
