Boy Scouts Vs Zombies
You Again director Andy Frickman has signed up to helm a horror comedy called Boy Scouts Vs Zombies , according to Production Weekly . From that title alone we can confidently predict Oscars and five stars a-plenty (yes, we have our fingers crossed behind our backs). The script has been written by Carrie Evans and Emi Mochizuki, two of the names behind 2008’s College Road Trip (um, anybody know anybody who’s seen that?).
Tron: Betrayal Preview
Splashpage has some lovely preview pages from the Tron: Legacy prequel comic that Marvel is producing, Tron: Betrayal . Apparently the story takes place between the events of the original movie and the long-awaited sequel. Click on the image below to see all of the preview pages.
The Vampire Diaries Music Video
Right, okay, we’re kinda fond of The Vampire Diaries , for all its emo slush, co-opted plots and cheap shocks (it’s Damon mainly – he’s just a great character). But one thing we do hate is the way the soundtrack seems to be saturated with the constant whine of indie rock anthems, inserted with all the subtlety of sledgehammer. So excuse us if we’re less than excited about the prospect of a soundtrack CD inspired by the show. But anyway, there’s one coming out in October, and to publicise the fact, The CW has created a music video of clips from the show to accompany the track “Obsession”, by Sky Ferreira, which will be released as a single. Other artists include Placebo, Bat for Lashes, Goldfrapp, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Silversun Pickups. Hey, who says The Vampire Diaries is just a small screen Twilight ?
