While some foolish fans might think Robin is lame, that just proves they haven’t been reading Batman comics for the last 20 years. For the preceding two decades Robin has been less useless Boy Scout and more teenage ass kicker with loner tendencies. Though we must admit we can’t think of the Tim Drake version of Robin, the same one as in the video, ever being this tough on criminals in the comics. As the trailer shows, the Robin of Batman: Arkham City is playing for keeps.
After seeing the more hardcore looking Robin with his shaved head, we imagined he’d be a more visceral Robin like in this trailer, more in the style of Damian Wayne, the current holder of the title. Perhaps that’s why he borrowed Damian’s hood. By the way, the offer for Robin in the US is only good with preorders from Best Buy, not GameStop like in the country this video originates from. And that’s one to grow on.
