After the nightmare of the real world these last couple of years, you may want to go back and watch Captain America online for a bit of good old-fashioned optimism. Luckily, his movies aren't hard to find - they're all available via Disney Plus. This allows you to stream Captain America films at your leisure and see his story from start to finish.

Although the character's movies may also be available elsewhere, the easiest way to watch Captain America is by getting a Disney Plus membership. The streaming service includes all of the character's appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (or 'MCU'), ranging from his trilogy to each Avengers movie. Plus, you can catch up with the series as a whole while you're at it. Besides allowing you to stream Captain America online, Disney Plus is home to almost every superhero film from the MCU.

It's not too expensive either, allowing you to binge each movie on a budget. A standard month costs $7.99 in the US, £7.99 in the UK, and $11.99 in Australia or Canada. Because it's packed with hit films, TV shows, that's pretty good going.

Watch Captain America in order

Starting with the transformation of a sickly Steve Rogers into Captain America during WWII, the series follows this do-gooding super-soldier as he winds up in the present day. Although it's a classic man-out-of-time story, it's told with a Marvel twist; besides finding his feet in an unfamiliar world, he helps to found the Avengers and uncovers deep-seated conspiracies within the highest levels of government. All in a day's work for Cap.

If you're curious about viewing order, it goes like this:

  1. Captain America: The First Avenger
  2. The Avengers
  3. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
  4. Avengers: Age of Ultron
  5. Captain America: Civil War
  6. Avengers: Infinity War
  7. Avengers: Endgame
