WarTech to fill North American, European skies with lasers
Japanese mech battler coming our way
Coming in May 2007, WarTech Senko no Ronde will fill the skies above with fiercely battling mechs. Downside: our planet will be a vast mining colony and shrapnel from the aerial skirmishes will rocket to the ground with deadly force. Upside: Cool-as-hell laser light shows - all the time!
Met with critical acclaim in Japan, WarTech is a fast-paced arcade-style shooter featuring wacky robots. Head-to-head battling seems to be the focus, and though a single player mode is offered, it'll likely be the multiplayer that'll suck up your time. Eight "Rounder Mechs," each with two variations and an unlockable B.O.S.S. mode, make for a solid number of suit-up options. Face off against big ol' bosses, your buddies, and the known Xbox-Live-subscribing universe in your quest to be the bestest mech battler ever. Go super robot action funtime!
