Warner website registrations hints at upcoming DC plans
Shazam, Wonder Woman and Aquaman movies on the way?
Warner Bros. has dropped a potential hint regarding its plans for several of its DC properties, after a series of telltale URLs were registered by the studio.
Tech Times reports that Warner has just registered URLs for JusticeLeagueFilm.com, ShazamMovie.com, WonderWomanTheMovie.com and AquamanMovie.com, with each site currently redirecting back to Warner’s home page.
Now of course, registering a URL isn’t tantamount to giving the green light on any one of these projects, but it’s certainly a good indicator towards which way the studio is leaning.
All of the aforementioned projects have previously been rumoured with varying degrees of certainty, with Wonder Woman and Aquaman set to be introduced by Zack Snyder’s upcoming Batman v Superman .
Whether that film leads straight into Justice League , or whether Warner will then grant its supporting players solo films of their own, remains to be seen. In the meantime, Batman v Superman will open in the UK on 25 March 2016.
