AMC green lights more zombie action
The Walking Dead will keep on walking for at least another season. AMC has announced the renewal of The Walking Dead for a third season, which isn’t much of a surprise after the record-breaking viewing figures for the season two premiere.
Subsequent episodes have continued to deliver the strongest ratings for any drama in US basic cable history.
“Today we are pleased to announce that the ‘dead’ shall live as we proudly renew The Walking Dead for a third season on AMC and, globally,” said Charlie Collier, AMC’s President. “We are thankful for everyone’s contribution in front of and behind the camera as we continue to make The Walking Dead a unique television experience. And, we are so proud as it continues to set viewership records around the world.”
Oh, and it’s on in the UK on FX .
