New PSVR 2 games in 2024
Alien: Rogue Incursion
Developer: Survios
Release date: December 19, 2024
Instead of rewatching all the Alien movies in order, you can now live out the sci-fi horror for yourself with the upcoming PSVR 2 game, Alien: Rogue Incursion. As you explore the Gemini Exoplanet Solutions research facility, you'll have to face deadly Xenomorphs in this action title. It's the typical Alien formula storywise, but like most horror fans, we still love that survival horror premise and can't wait to see some Facehuggers come December.

Hitman World of Assassination
Developer: IO Interactive
Release date: March 27, 2025
Originally slated to arrive in December 2024, IO interactive confirmed the upcoming Hitman VR experience has been pushed back to 2025. As detailed in a PlayStation Blog, marketing director Jacob Lacaille said the additional time will allow the team to polish the game, and "also add a few extras that we really wanted to include in the PS VR2 version, such as active reloading". Fans can look forward to carrying out hits and pointing loaded guns at targets with their own hands in 20 unique locations.

TBC 2025
The Midnight Walk
Developer: MoonHood
Release date: Spring 2025
The Midnight Walk is perhaps one of the most visually exciting and creative games on this list. Built-in clay, you'll get to explore a dark fantasy world as you work to survive several monsters who are hell-bent on extinguishing the flame of your lantern-headed friend, Potboy. The landscapes, character designs, and overall vibe of The Midnight Walk look amazing, as well as incredibly eerie. This isn't just one of our most anticipated upcoming PSVR 2 games; it is also on our radar as one of the most exciting upcoming horror games in 2025, period.
Low-Fi
Developer: Iris VR
Release date: TBC 2025
Low-Fi looks really cool, with the game specifically designed for VR thanks to its holodeck-inspired features. You play as the sheriff of a cyberpunk slum called cityblock 303 where the only other citizens are the titular low-fi - aka humans too poor to jack into the city's platforms. How you spend your time in cityblock 303 is up to you, as this open world is completely non-linear.
Wanderer: The Fragments of Fate
Developer: Mighty Eyes
Release date: TBC 2025
Originally released on the original PSVR, Wanderer: The Fragments of Fate is a time-traveling adventure that's now coming to PSVR 2. You'll be skipping through time as you try to rewrite the past to shape the future. There are drum solos to be had and Last of Us style combat, too, so it looks like a great one to keep on your radar.
Aces of Thunder
Developer: Gaijin Games
Release date: TBC 2025
Take to the skies with Aces of Thunder, an aerial combat game that takes its flight and damage models from War Thunder. That means you should get quite the epic airborne battles, with immersion the number one focus thanks to cockpit views and complete control over all the flight systems.
