Ubisoft and GamesRadar present Rainbow Six Vegas tourney

Okay, it's time to step up and show us what you're made of. We know you love games. You fill up our forums arguing about them, you write us about them, you e-mail us about them... somehow, some of you have even managed to instant message us about them. But now we'll get a chance to see how you actually do playing them.

In partnership with publisher Ubisoft and retailers Gamestop and EB Games, GamesRadar (along with sister publications PC Gamer and Official Xbox Magazine) has organized a massive nationwide online tournament for upcoming shooter Rainbow Six Vegas. Starting December 27, we'll be pitting teams of four against each other in the game's team multiplayer matches. The last teams standing on January 28 will then compete in a final championship round.

What's at stake? Besides our- and your fellow gamers'- eternal admiration and respect? Well, we suppose we could throw a new car in...

That's right. Win the whole thing and you win a 2007 Dodge Nitro. We've also got cash prizes for the next three in the rankings.

But if you want your shot at the action, you'd better act fast. You and your three teammates can register at any Gamestop or EB Games, but the window for signing up ends December 22. While you're there, you can also pick up a free Prima strategy guide to help you finalize your tactics. And, not to state the obvious, but you'll want to make sure you have an Xbox 360 and a copy of the game, too.

Headherefor all the official rules and details. Continue to watch GamesRadar for extensive coverage of the contest... and those who prove themselves in it.
