Twisted Metal is back!
New PS2 outing features "lost" levels from Twisted Metal II
David Jaffe, creator of God of War, and Scott Campbell, founder of Warhawk dev Incognito, have teamed up to form new development outfit Eat, Sleep, Play. And for their first act, Sony has announced ESP will be bringing Twisted Metal: Head On to PS2 this winter.
Both Jaffe and Campbell originally created Twisted Metal, so they know what they're up to. The game will feature "lost" levels harvested from the unpublished Twisted Metal: Black Part II, as well as a documentary on the long-running series.
Eat, Sleep, Play is already engaged in a number of other titles for PlayStation platforms, with the first game due for release next year. With two of Sony's most creative minds at work - both of who have experience of developing for PS Network, too - we're expecting good things from the new studio.
