Supernatural continues… in comic book form
If the writers' strike is giving you Supernatural withdrawal symptoms then maybe DC comics can help. The company is launching a six-issue mini-series prequel to the show, Supernatural Rising Son, featuring Dean at the age of 11, and Sam at the age of seven. "We're really going to explore the differences between Sam and Dean in this one. Dean is becoming aware of what his dad's up to," says writer Peter Johnson, who is also co-executive producer of the TV series. TV Guide has loads of preview pics.
Sarah Michelle Gellar has doubts about Buffy film
A Buffy movie wouldn’t work, Sarah Michelle Gellar tells Sci Fi Wire . "One of the reasons [the original Buffy movie] didn't really work on the big screen – and people blamed Kristy, but that's not what it was – is the story was better told over a long arc. I worry about Buffy as a 'beginning, middle and end' so quickly," says Gellar. But she doesn’t rule out a return to the role completely: "Never say never… You show me a script; you show me that it works, and you show me that [the] audience can accept that, [and] I'd probably be there. Those are what my hesitations are."
Iron Man/Hulk crossover
In an interview with MTV.com William Hurt reveals that his character from Incredible Hulk also makes an appearance in the Iron Man movie: "It’s a funky scene."
