Trials Evolution preview - bigger and better
Be prepared to lose many hours of your life
Evolving outdoors
In the upcoming Trials Evolution, we hit the great outdoors.
Under the moonlight
Trials Evolution's tracks are bigger and crazier than ever before. You'll climb makeshift ramps, catch a lift on elevators, and as you soar off magnificent cliffs and see the canyon below, you'll be in awe as to how big the levels really are.
Head to head
The game is also introducing four-player multiplayer for the first time on 10 tracks. Sound crazy? Each player stays on their own track so you don't have to worry about the others. Staying on your two wheels is a challenge on its own. When you crash (because you likely will), you'll restart start fairly close so that no one gets left behind. Points are calculated based on who comes in first and how many falls you have. 10 points to the winner, and for each crash you lose a point.
Show off
When you do clear a track, stay until the animation finishes, we're told that there's always a surprise for those who wait...
Explosive new levels
Tracks are not only outdoors but they're no longer restricted from left and right. To build these massive levels, tracks will curve and head upward. Be prepared to focus on your landing because you'll likely be trying to take in the view instead.
Improved track editor
Track sharing will be easier than before due to Track Central, a system that lets you search through list of tracks that have been curated by RedLynx. You'll have access to an unlimited amount of tracks created by the community so even if you manage to ace all the challenges, there will always be new content.
Endless possiblities
We had a blast during our play time with Trials Evolution at a recent Microsoft Showcase event, so we're looking forward to taking on all the challenges when the game is released this spring on Xbox Live Arcade.
