Why you can trust 12DOVE
In Tower Bloxx you build a city block by block by almost literally throwing them together. As your tower rises, the Avatars swoop in on umbrellas like the idiot children of Mary Poppins. So long as each block connects substantially enough your tower will remain upright. There are rewards for the accuracy but few penalties for assembling something that’s liable to blow down in the next strong breeze.
There’s also a strategy element and some multiplayer modes in the game, but it does little to boost the one note, one button gameplay by adding in annoying ways to scupper your foe’s tower. If, however, you like the sound of packing avatars into teetering towers like sardines, you might care to know that a very similar version of the game is free to play online before you part with your 800MS points. It’s weak strategy built around a minigame that’s okay for coffee breaks on your PC but not so great for Xbox Live.
