Torchlight to crash Microsoft's House Party this February

PC favorite to be included with Beyond Good & Evil HD and other titles in Winter promotion

Similar to last year's House Party promotion, Microsoft will be releasing a new crowd-friendly game on XBLA every week for five weeks starting on February 16th. One of the more significant releases will be a port of the uber popular PC role-playing game, Torchlight, which will feature retooled controls, new gear, fresh adventures and local cooperative play. Microsoft hasn't divulged any plans for a full-out online multiplayer component, but it has made references to sharing items between online friends.

Other titles crashing XBLA's House Party include PopCap games' Bejeweled Blitz Live, Microsoft and Krome Studios' Full-House Poker, Ubisoft's Beyond Good and Evil HD, and Konami's Hard: Corps: Uprising, which will be the first game to kick off the promotion.

Full release schedules and prices are likely to follow Microsoft's CES appearance.
