Hitman: Contracts relinquishes the top spot as Electronic Arts' timely UEFA Euro 2004 kick-about steps up to number one after entering the charts at number two last week. EA have now published over half of this year's number ones - quite an achievement in anyone's book.
Nintendo's Pokemon Colosseum puts in an impressive performance for a single-format title and debuts at number two. In fact, it's Ninty's best-selling title since last year's rather marvellous Mario Kart: Double Dash!! Two more new entries pepper the top 10 with the excellent, but tough, Xbox-only Ninja Gaiden charting at four and The Suffering causing all kinds of anguish at nine.
Van Helsing debuts at a very respectable 11, while Pro Evolution Soccer re-enters at 15 as a result of the release of the cut-price Platinum version. The software market is actually down in sales but the charts look more competitive than they have for a while. We still can't get rid of Norton Internet Security 2004, mind.
