While Need For Speed: Underground hangs on to the top spot for a third week, shooting up to number two is Grand Theft Auto: Double Pack, which features GTA III and Vice City. When the twin set was initially released for PS2 only, it failed to even make it into the top 40 but, since also being released on Xbox, it has climbed its way to the upper reaches of the chart, with the Xbox version currently accounting for 78% of the compilation's sales. Could it make it all the way to number one next week?
Elsewhere in the top 10, there's not a great deal of movement, with the main drop being Medal of Honor: Rising Sun, from three to eight. Looking further down the chart, Manhunt manages to make it back into the top 20, by virtue of a strong week of sales that took it from 29 to 16. Following the inevitable huge sales over Christmas, the total volume of software sold has dropped by 50% although over 1,000,000 games are still being shifted a week.
