One of the best aspects of Captain America: Civil War is Tom Holland's brand new Spider-Man; While the red and blue costume is familiar the performance is very different to past Spider-Men, and that was by design.
“It was very difficult to not obviously copy what Andrew [Garfield] and Tobey [Maguire] had done, because what they did was brilliant", Holland told HeyUGuys at Civil War's UK premiere. "But I think our main difference is trying to make Peter feel like a kid. And in the film, you see a kid reacting to meeting the Avengers for the first time.”

Many critics came out of Civil War saying that Holland's Spider-Man is the best live-action interpretation of the character. I think it's a little too early for that kind of praise, but the webslinger gets some of the best moments in the movie and I'm now doubly excited to see what Jon Watts does with the character in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
