Tokyo Jungle bringing animalistic survival to North American PSN
Great, now where's our Jumanji game?
Tokyo Jungle may have at first seemed a little too off-the-wall for North American audiences, but just a day after the game's launch in Japan we're getting word that a Western release is in the works.
You'll be forgiven if you've never heard of Tokyo Jungle. It's a very low profile title compared to many blockbuster titles, but it sounds as amazing as anything we heard about at E3.
In the story mode of the game you take control of different animals that have entered the city of Tokyo after the extinction of man. Missions assign you tasks based around survival in the new wild cityscape. The story revolves around revealing the story of Man's demise, which - no kidding - are apparently told through a Pomeranian and a race horse.
We're most excited about the survival mode though. In that mode you're put in the shoes of an animal of your choosing, and tasked with surviving however you can. Small animals move in packs, while large animals stalk the urban streets alone.
We don't yet have a release date to give you, unfortunately, but we'll be keeping an eye peeled for this insanely interesting PSN title.
