This sleek PS5 headset is going for cheap on Prime Day
Pulse 3D complements the PS5's aesthetic as well as your wallet
If you're on the hunt for some Prime Day PS5 headset deals, we've found you a worthy contender. PS5 Pulse 3D headsets have been reduced to £74.09 (originally £89.99) on Amazon UK, netting you just over £15 in savings and making it one of our top Prime Day PS5 deals to check out this year.
Sporting the same sleek black-and-white design as the console itself, Pulse 3D is the perfect complement to the PS5 both visually and functionally. Sure, it's not the fanciest of accessories out there, but these cheap Pulse 3Ds are definitely a Prime Day gaming deal worth checking out if you've been searching for a no-fuss pair of headphones to make the most of your PS5's audio capabilities.
As we said in our PS5 Pulse 3D headset review, it's "a seamless way to get the most from your new console's audio," with 3D surround sound being just one highlight of the PS5's high-end specs. Better yet, you'll be saving 18% on the RRP by picking them up today.
This is a Prime Day PS5 headset deal selected for Amazon UK storefronts, so anyone outside the region should go ahead and scroll down for some other offers available from Amazon US and beyond.
PS5 Pulse 3D headset | £89.99 £74.09 at Amazon UK
Save £15 - Not only does it look beautiful, the Pulse 3D headset offers an immersive PS5 experience in full surround sound. It's on sale for 18% off RRP this Prime Day, so if you're looking for top performance in a clean and tidy package, definitely check these headphones out.
Should you buy the PS5 Pulse 3D headset?
In terms of value for money, the Pulse 3D offers no-frills quality at an attractively low price point. They're easy to set up, don't feature any distracting protruding microphones or other accoutrements to get in the way, and charging them is simply a case of using a USB to plug them into your console.
The only snag is that the built-in microphone is not the best out there. "The hidden dual-microphone system isn't the most sensitive," we said in our Pulse 3D review, "and tested in voice chat didn't offer a much better experience for the person listening to me babble than the built-in microphone on the DualSense controller. Even with my microphone input settings set to maximum." In short, it works just fine if you are a casual fan of voice comms or using Discord to communicate with fellow teammates, but Twitch streamers and anyone in search of professional-level recordings might want to use an external mic instead.
All in all, the Pulse 3D headset for PS5 is a great choice for anyone keen to jump into a game and feel immersed in a brand new world. If you're more of a listener than a talker and don't care much for other bells and whistles, it feels like a no-brainer choice. Paired with one of our Prime Day TV deals, you'll be all set to sink into the likes of Marvel's Spider Man 2 and other upcoming PS5 games for an uninterrupted sound experience.
