This early Black Friday Xbox Series X bundle gets you Modern Warfare 3 for free
EE is offering the best early Black Friday Xbox bundle that's currently available
There are loads of reasons to buy an Xbox Series X or S in 2023. If Starfield didn't tempt you earlier in the year, you probably hear the hundreds of titles on Game Pass calling out to you in your sleep. This is a welcome change, especially since the PS5 has been such an appealing front-runner for so long now.
If you're yet to grab an Xbox, and you're hunting for a way to get the latest Call of Duty game on the cheap, EE is running an early Black Friday bundle that could seriously help you out. For only £409 you get an Xbox Series X (which usually costs £479.99 on its own), and a code for the new shooter.
No matter what way you look at it, this early Black Friday Xbox deal is bananas (B-A-N-A-N-A-S).
Argos, Amazon, and EE are all offering the console on its own for that same £409 price tag, with other retailers like Very offering it for £419. This bundle also appears at a few other retailers, but they have it priced at £429. That means that in this bundle, Modern Warfare 3's full AAA price tag of £70 is completely negated - in other words, you're getting the game for free.
If we were you, we wouldn't wait around. EE has been particularly bold in dropping this price down below the other retailers, and there's really no guarantee that the others will follow suit - that means if you don't want to pay that additional £10 for the bundle, you'll want to get in there fast while stock is still available.
Xbox Series X + Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 | £479.99 £409 at EE
Save £50 - Getting a Series X on the cheap is not all that common, but getting a brand new game that happens to be one of the biggest releases of the year thrown in as part of that discount is even better. Don't wait around for this one because it's sure to fly off the shelves.
Buy it if:
✅ You're in the market for an Xbox and COD
✅ You want to play with friends using cross-play
Don't buy it if:
❌ You aren't a fan of First Person Shooters
Price check: Very £429 | Currys £429
Having maintained our Xbox Series X bundles and deals page for some time now, I'm surprised to see such a great offer before Black Friday week (Thanksgiving week in the US) has properly started. Earlier in the year we've seen bundles on EA FC24, Diablo IV, and Starfield, but given Call of Duty's popularity, it's surprising to see it offered in a bundle so soon after release.
In fairness, Acitivision Blizzard is now owned by Microsoft, so it shouldn't really come as a surprise that Xbox is using this new release as a chance to ship some consoles.
The true bonus of this deal is that if you've been saving up for Black Friday Xbox deals and you've budgeted for the full price of the Series X, you now have some money left over which you could spend on some of the best Xbox Series X accessories, which will no doubt go on sale during Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
If you want to shop around for accessories sooner rather than later, take a look at the hand-picked products we recommend below. We've used our price comparison software to bring you the best deals in your area.

Ever since playing Journey at the age of 15, I’ve been desperate to cover video games for a living. After graduating from Edinburgh Napier University with a degree in Journalism, I contributed to the Scottish Games Network and completed an Editorial Internship over at Expert Reviews. Besides that, I’ve been managing my own YouTube channel and Podcast for the last 7 years. It’s been a long road, but all that experience somehow landed me a dream job covering gaming hardware. I’m a self-confessing PlayStation fanboy, but my experience covering the larger business and developer side of the whole industry has given me a strong knowledge of all platforms. When I’m not testing out every peripheral I can get my hands on, I’m probably either playing tennis or dissecting game design for an upcoming video essay. Now, I better stop myself here before I get talking about my favourite games like HUNT: Showdown, Dishonored, and Towerfall Ascension. Location: UK Remote
