We’ve already told you why the first Alan Wake DLC, “The Signal,”set a dangerous precedent. But if there’s anything our new favorite tortured author is used to, it’s danger.
“The Writer” DLC promises to conclude the events from “The Signal”. Never mind that the first downloadable episode promised to do the same with the original game. Well, whatever the case, we’re expecting the same trippy goodness that kept us entertained in the first.
What has changed, however, is that rather than attempting to understand the dark reality enthralling him, Alan must fight back against it. Guided by Thomas Zane, the mysterious diver, Wake struggles to regain his sanity or risk losing himself to the dark forever. Check out the trailer:
