The Walking Dead clip reveals Carol and Morgan's trek through The Kingdom
The Walking Dead opened season 7 in spectacularly gory fashion. A bleak future seemingly awaits Rick and his band of mourning survivors. But despite how upsetting the events of the season premiere were, the show must go on and things appear to be taking a turn for the better in episode 2.
It's easy to forget what happened when we last saw Carol and Morgan - what with the whole Negan thing going on. While this extended clip isn't exactly a barrel of laughs, it does hint at some hopeful prospects on the horizon: food, shelter, and what appears to be a harmonious society.
This is our first good look at The Kingdom - a new community we've yet to be officially introduced to. It reminds me of when we first saw Alexandria. Yes, we all know how that went, which makes you wonder how long it will be before this new sanctuary comes tumbling down. Or overrun with walkers/Saviors/Whisperers.
The Walking Dead season 7 airs every Sunday at 9pm on AMC in the US, and every Monday at 9pm on Fox UK in the UK.
