The Secrets of Da Vinci demo now available

Remember back in the day when a controversial novel came out claiming that the Catholic church was perpetrating a massive fraud on the human race by suppressing the truth about Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, in order to subjugate women and maintain an iron grip on ecumenical power? Yeah, good times. Scattered throughout that blasphemous devilbook were detailed descriptions of elaborate codes and intricate devices concocted by Leonardo Da Vinci to help preserve the heretical secrets around which the conflict centers. If that sort of Italian trickery appealed to you, then you're in luck.

Free video game! Well, free video game demo, at least! The French developers of The Secrets of Da Vinci: The Forbidden Manuscript have released a demo that follows the first "night" of the game's storyline, which takes place during the Renaissance. You're trying to gain entry to Da Vinci's office, because who doesn't like a little B&E on a slow night? To do so, you'll have to tackle some pretty tricky puzzles, 'cause that guy was way big on security. If you think you're up for it, you can download the demo from the publisher's sitehere, or from one of the mirrors listed below. Happy heresy!
