The Raindance Film Festival welcomes submissions
It’s raining submission opportunities, hallelujah!
It’s the UK’s largest independent film festival, its celebrating its fifteenth anniversary this year, and it wants you to join the party.
Raindance wants people to submit shorts and features of all genres from anywhere in the world – and if you’re a budding filmmaker, we suggest you get your entry in the post forthwith.
Last year’s Jury Prize Winners were selected by a group that included Lou Reed, Marky Ramone, and Dame Judi Dench; and if the thought of Judi Dench sharing popcorn with Lou Reed as they’re forced to watch your film doesn’t tickle you, we don’t know what will.
Festival dates have been set for 26 September to 7 October 2007 and Raindance will be accepting submissions until 1 June 2007. If you want to save on submission fees, get your film in before 1 May.
More information can be found by clicking here . Good luck, and we’ll see you there!
