New PlayStation store Web site brings PSP downloads to your PC

Excellent news for the PSP today. Newly opened righthere is Sony's new PlayStation store for the handheld. In parallel with its big brother's equivalent vending service, the site holds within its hallowed pages downloadable demos, trailers, PSone games and original PlayStation Network games, all ready for the easy porting from your PC to your PSP via a USB connection.

While content is a little sparse at the moment, this is exactly what the PSP has always needed. The little fella has so far been held back by his relative inability to make the most of downloadable content without the aid of a PS3, so once fully-stocked, the new store should add a whole new dimension to the system.
