The new Jason Bourne is no Matt Damon
No trace of Damon DNA in the first Bourne game
Vivendi has announced that the first offering to take advantage of its deal to create games based on author Robert Ludlum's books will be The Bourne Conspiracy, which - as the name suggests - is based in the espionage-focused world that movie-goers saw in The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy. But while the game will feature "seminal moments" from the Identity movie, it doesn't look like Matt Damon will play a starring role as protagonist Jason Bourne.
As you can see from the image below, the virtual Jason Bourne isn't exactly a Damon doppelganger and while calls to Vivendi failed to shed any light on whether the Hollywood actor will have any involvement with the PS3 and Xbox 360 game, we're willing to wager that the deal didn't stretch as far as the movies and Conspiracy's Jason Bourne will be free of any Damon DNA.
